Feast Your Eyes on Pete Davidson’s Custom-Made Uggs

In case you’re wondering where Pete Davidson is at in his life right now, just know he’s been getting Uggs custom made. Because as his stylist Britt Theodora tells GQ, “They don’t make fun colors in men’s sizing!!” Which is, of course, awesome.
Davidson showed off a pair of his custom chocolate-brown Ugg Classics on Thursday at the New York City premiere of Bupkis, the new Peacock series loosely based on Davidson’s life, which stars the comedian as himself, Edie Falco as his mom, and Joe Pesci as his grandfather. (Perhaps in spite of Falco and Pesci’s colossal presence in Italian-American pop culture, Davidson is famously “only 20 percent” Italian.) And yes, Pete still dresses like Pete on the show.
Because our guy is a perpetually devil-may-care dresser, especially on a red carpet, he naturally paired the boots with a cushy, floor-length denim Diesel trench, an Eric Emanuel-made Bupkis merch hoodie, and some Gore-Tex cargos by Acronym. Looking like a varsity diver warming up for the big intercollegiate swim meet who also has access to an unlimited credit card and a thing for expensive streetwear? Now that’s a pitch-perfect Pete ensemble.
He is also wearing a pair of sunglasses from Joe Pesci’s sunglasses brand (?!) called Badazz Glazz (?!!), which Pesci apparently started after he “received numerous compliments on the sunglasses that [he] wore during production” of Martin Scorsese’s 2018 movie The Irishman. Now that we are all privy to this context, it appears that Pete Davidson wears these Joe Pesci sunglasses with some frequency.

Speaking of: Those custom Uggs are becoming another staple in Davidson’s wily wardrobe. Last week, he wore a navy pair with a satin New York Knicks varsity jacket and olive green sweatpants to a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden; before that, around Easter, Pete showed up on Martha Stewart’s doorstep in a pair of sand-colored Classics so that Martha could gift him (plus his Bupkis and Bodies Bodies Bodies costar Chase Sui Wonders) with some farm-fresh eggs.
And if Pete, his bespoke boots, and his Martha Stewart-gathered eggs haven’t sold you on getting yourself a pair of shearling-lined steppers, perhaps fellow funnymen Adam Sandler or Jonah Hill can persuade you yet.
